If you have expensive in car entertainment make sure your car insurance policy provides enough cover to meet the cost of replacing it and it has been declared on the application form, if it is not standard equipmenty in that car.
Some companies now offer child car seat replacement, which means they will replace your child's car seat after an accident even if there is no visible damage.
Until your insurance company issues you with a cover note or a new policy then your car is not insured. That does not mean you need to have recieved your cover note. Many comapnies, give you instant cover, where the agreement is there imediatly.
