Some credit card companies can charge an annual fee. So why not look around for one that has no annual fee?
Don't just apply for a card because it's offering 0%. Check out their normal rates and compare it with other lenders.
If you always pay your balance off your balance transfer virgin credit cards every month then interest rates offered have less importance. Look for a card offering rewards or money back on purchases.
Be aware that if you only pay the minimum balance each month it could take you 25 years to pay off a £2000 debt.
Do not give your credit card number to anyone who calls on the phone unexpectedly, no matter who they say they are. Also never use email to transmit your details and only use websites that encrypt the details. There are also credit cards that protect you from bad internet transcations.
