You should declare that you van is for business when filling in your van insurance enquiry form.
Making a claim will not automatically lose you your no claims bonus. Most insurers will relegate you only two years meaning if you had 5 years no claims then you would still have 3 years.
If you are making a claim and have comprehensive coverage most companies try and settle the claim within 5-7 days.
